People always ask “What does NoHo stand for ?”
NoHo stands for “North of Houston st” it’s a neighbourhood in Manhattan where Creativity meets chic. In 2014 our creative director Ashley and her husband Luke were wandering around the streets of New York City and came across the most incredible place.
Once home to artists like Andy Warhol and the legendary CBGB music club, the area stays true to its heritage with trendy galleries and live performances.
Inspired by the beauty and culture of this amazing neighbourhood of only 5 blocks she decided that one day if she ever owned her own salon she would try and replicate the beauty and feel of NoHo and that’s why we thought of no better name for our salon than NoHo Hair Co.
